Non-Chinese citizens, physically and mentally healthy.

Applicants for General Scholar must have Bachelor's degree (equivalent to Bachelor's degree in China) and no more than 50 years old.

Applicants for Senior Scholar must have Master's degree (equivalent to Master's degree in China) and no more than 55 years old.

Chinese Proficiency: new HSK Band 4 or above (not necessary for English-taught majors).
