Long-term Program of Chinese Language

Program Description

This program is designed to train the students'listening, speaking, reading and writing in Chinese 1anguage. It consists of classes of different 1evels and students are divided into different classes according to their current Chinese proficiency. Each class has 10~15 students. The program commences in each February and September. Classes are arranged five days a week, 15 to 20 hours per week in total students who attend all the classes and pass the examinations can get a Certificate of Suzhou University of Science and Technology upon completion of the program.

Short-term Program of Chinese Language & Culture

Program Description: 

This program is designed to train the students' Chinese language skill and enable students to learn Chinese culture at the same time. It is usually 2 weeks to 2 months in duration. Normally we offer Chinese language classes in the mornings and culture classes and site visits in the afternoons. The culture classes are given in the way of lectures that cover Chinese history, geography, economy, education, calligraphy, painting, social structure, traditional folk custom, traditional sports, etc. All the culture lectures are given in Chinese or English. Site visits may include factories, business enterprises, markets, development zones and other places of historical interests. If required, trips to other cities are possibly arranged at weekends or after the program.
