Language Program
School of International Education accepts international students for short term and long term throughout the year.We provide Chinese language courses, traditional sports experience and Chinese culture experience for international students, help students master the language points, understand the Chinese culture and improve their ability tocommunicate in Chinese in daily life.

Chinese classes will be divided based on students' Chinese language proficiency. There are around 15 persons in one class. There will be about 20 class hours a week for each level.

Course Content
Main courses
Intensive reading, Extensive reading, Speaking, Listening, Chinese character writing and Composition writing.

Culture experience
Chinese calligraphy, Paper cutting, Martial Arts, Table tennis, Folk sports, DrinkingChinese tea, Make dumplings, etc.

Tour
One-day tour in Shanghai or outside Shanghai (expense not included in tuition fee)

Study Period
The spring semester runs from February to June every year.
The fall semester runs from September to January every year.

Sport Training Program
Long-term Sport Training Program

Introduction

Shanghai University of Sport possesses advanced facilities and rich teaching resources. International students including those from partner universities may apply to take major-related courses or do research at SUS asvisiting students.

Martial arts courses, Taiji courses, Sanshou courses and Ping-pong courses are offered to visiting students from all over the world

The schooling system for the visiting students ranges from 3 months to 2 years. A non-degree certificate will be awarded if he/she successfully finishes his study at SUS.

Short-term Sport Training Program

Introduction
Short-term program focuses on specialized training developed between International culture exchange school and other relevant professional departments. The program includes Chinese Martial Arts, Ping-pong, Sanda,Taekwondo, etc. Individuals may apply for this program, too.

Short-term program usually ranges from one week to six weeks. It is offered to international students in spring semester, fall semester and summer vocation.
